What a day we had out on the water with Frank and the crew from Wellfleet, Massachusetts! As a full-day charter fishing adventure with Magnanimous Sport Fishing, we set out to explore the Outer Cape and see what the nearshore Atlantic had in store. August is the perfect time of year for this type of inshore fishing trip, with clear conditions and active fish eager to hit the line.

We wasted no time getting the lines in the water, working a mix of techniques to cover different depths and target species. It wasn't long before we started hooking up, with some nice Atlantic bonito coming onboard. Those little speedsters really put up a great fight, carving through the water and making some impressive runs. In between bites, we took in the beautiful Cape Cod scenery, enjoying the sunny skies and calm seas.

<div>We had a father and son trip early Sunday morning and did some live lining with mackerel. Something different for the both of them as they are Repeat clients. They both totally enjoyed the light tackle fishing, landing to nice &nbsp;Keepers that were taken hime for dinner.</div>

<div>The fishing in the bay is still good as you can see Ryan grabbed a couple nice fish one that he videoed for us and took some pictures. With the cool temperatures, the fish should be sticking around.</div>

<div>We got out yesterday and found some nice striped bass. Couple nice 34 inch fish toss back in and a nice 28 inch to Take home for dinner for our clients. I have Saturday open if anyone is interested in getting out there and getting the lines tight.</div>

<div>The shoals are still holding nice sized stripe bass. &nbsp;We left the dock at 11am , afternoon trip, and we were at our spot in no time. &nbsp;Lines in and tight we went. &nbsp;We started with a 25 inch and worked ip to a 34 incher. We did fine one slot size one otherwise all the action you could want and we took dinner home too!!</div>

<div>The fishing is still very active in Cape Cod Bay. we had plenty of action over the weekend. We had fish from 24 inches to 39 inches. &nbsp;We did manage to grab a few fish that were in the slot catagory for dinner on friday and saturday night.&nbsp;</div>

<div>With the winds blowing all weekend and half of this week, we were able to get out. &nbsp;We started in deep water however nothing was touching anything ao we moved to the shoals. &nbsp;We set out the jigs and started to bring aome fish over the gunnels. &nbsp;Reid , who worked hard was able to get dinner for all. &nbsp;</div>

<div>The fishing in Cape Cod Bay is awesome right now. Today we went out at eight and we had fish already on the hook by 830. We were able to grab some keepers for our clients who took them home and grilled them up and had a great dinner. &nbsp;I don't know how long this is going to last, but there are all sizes of fish out there, book your trip now and see what's going on out there as we will hunt Cape Cod Bay looking for your dinner.</div>
