Captain Mark Haley tailors the outing to where the fish are holding, giving guests the chance to cast toward stripers, bluefish, and albies feeding near the surface or search deeper when the action moves below. This adaptable approach makes the charter appealing to both beginners and experienced anglers, with clear instruction available throughout the trip aboard The Magnanimous. Fishing licenses and tackle are included, so guests can arrive ready to enjoy the water. Follow the Cape Cod Bay Bite from Surface to Bottom

Fishing Cape Cod Bay often means responding to what the water reveals, and Captain Mark Haley keeps the day flexible as conditions and fish activity change. When stripers, bluefish, or albies appear at the surface, guests can cast toward the visible action. If the schools move down, the approach can shift to searching closer to the bottom. This variety keeps everyone involved, whether learning with Captain Mark’s guidance or arriving with previous fishing experience. Tackle and fishing licenses are included aboard The Magnanimous, removing the need to organize equipment beforehand. An optional lunch stop at Barnstable Harbor can add a comfortable break during the day. Striped Bass within the legal 28-to-31-inch size range may be kept when regulations permit.
